About The Position

Showroom Sales Consultants assist customers with design and product selection for kitchen and/or bathroom projects. They provide sales quotations to customers and process and manage customer orders. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a starting wage based on experience of $24.00 per hour or more.

Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing and/or kitchen cabinetry.
• Customer service mindset.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Ability to stand for the majority of an eight-hour day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Education in interior design or space planning.
• Experience using ProKitchen or 20/20 computer programs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Understand customer needs and meet their expectations.
• Recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs.
• Use the ProKitchen CAD program to lay out projects.
• Prepare project quotations.
• Process customer orders.
• Keep the showroom clean and organized.
• Travel to customer job sites to take field measurements when required.
