About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in California (RN)/(BSN).
• Current ACLS certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in fertility nursing or reproductive medicine.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, education, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Support fertility treatments and workflows, including IVF, third-party reproduction, and IUI.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care standards.
• Lead the IVF Nursing team and support a seamless, compassionate patient journey.
• Oversee Care Team Introductions and patient onboarding.
• Coordinate care among navigators, nurses, providers, and administrative teams.
• Monitor patient readiness, scheduling, consents, and treatment prerequisites.
• Manage patient escalations and support complex patient cases.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; support their professional development.
• Foster a collaborative, compassionate, high-performing team culture.
• Manage staff scheduling and appropriate coverage across treatment areas.
• Support and maintain the clinic’s Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and network regulatory standards and clinical protocols, including CDC, tissue bank, and FDA regulations.
• Conduct chart audits and quality assurance reviews; prepare for regulatory inspections and internal quality reviews.
• Monitor and enforce infection control and safety procedures.
• Develop and oversee a Quality Assurance program for nursing and patient navigation services, including defining and refining SOPs.
• Investigate patient complaints, incidents, and quality variances and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Conduct root cause analyses for clinical incidents and implement quality assurance programs.
• Monitor and track KPIs, analyze trends, and implement process improvements.
• Lead regular operational meetings to improve workflow efficiency and patient experience.
• Support risk management, incident investigation, and corrective action planning.
• Develop and maintain staff training programs, competency validation, clinical SOPs, job aids, and workflow guides.
• Ensure consistent patient communication and care coordination across teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, patient navigators, ASC clinical teams, operations leaders, and administrative teams to optimize care and clinic operations.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings to improve care delivery and operational performance.
