About The Position

To lead the design and execution of organizational training programs, specializing in instructional delivery and performance-based learning. Mentors staff on best practices in educational technology and collaborates with leadership to optimize training processes that drive employee competency and operational excellence. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager who evaluates performance annually. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Training, or related field.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or HRIS for recruitment purposes preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in addition to prolonged periods of standing to facilitate training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and facilitation of high impact in person and digital training programs that align with identified learning objectives and organizational goals.
  • Create engaging and interactive instructional content using a variety of design methods, modern tools, and technologies, including the development of LMS materials.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments and identify critical training and recruitment gaps.
  • Formulate strategic recommendations for training and talent initiatives for Director approval to ensure alignment with broader business priorities.
  • Establish and implement comprehensive evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness and impact of training through feedback collection and outcome assessments.
  • Facilitate specialized safety training, including CPR instruction, ensuring all employees meet organizational compliance and certification requirements.
  • Promote learning opportunities and resources across multiple communication channels to drive employee engagement, participation, and awareness of training schedules.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all training, orientations, and CPR certifications to ensure data integrity and organizational compliance.
  • Perform annual reviews of training records and manage the training dashboard to track participation and analyze completion trends.
  • Generate analytical reports and data visualizations on training metrics to facilitate informed decision making and drive continuous program improvement.
  • Research and share industry best practices in talent acquisition and instructional design to recommend and implement process enhancements.
  • Provide cross functional support to the HR team, including assisting with the job offer process and other talent development activities as needed.
  • Serve as back up in the absence of Talent Specialist.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
