About The Position

Requirements

• Associate Analyst: Associate's degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement for internal candidates.
• Associate Analyst: One to three years of experience required.
• Analyst: Bachelor's degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement for internal candidates.
• Analyst: Three years of experience required.
• Analyst: Three years of experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Analyst: Prior nursing, clinical, healthcare operations, or IT experience required.
• Strong software and application knowledge.
• If an RN or other clinical provider, must maintain the applicable license.
• Application-specific certifications are required as applicable; Epic certification must be obtained after hire and maintained for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Analyst: At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Associate Analyst: Prior healthcare operations or IT experience preferred.
• Associate Analyst: Epic application systems implementation and support experience preferred.
• Analyst: Epic Beaker, EpicCare Ambulatory, or Inpatient Orders application certification and implementation/support experience preferred.
• Analyst: Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to end users using software applications, technology, and electronic medical records across medical and research laboratory operations.
• Provide advanced support for enterprise Epic and laboratory applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Build, test, and validate new functionality and engage in custom configuration activities.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, reports, and technical issues associated with clinical and business applications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and production releases.
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Identify and coordinate system updates, changes, and enhancements to support clinical information and business needs while maintaining system and data integrity.
• Collaborate with senior management to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and services.
• Facilitate hardware installation and implementation between IT, patient care, and business process teams.
• Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions.
• Manage and coordinate team tasks.
• Maintain issue lists, documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, and weekly status reports for leadership.
• Act as a change agent, educator, and resource for end users.
