About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.
• High School Diploma
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and employees, whether in person or on the phone.
• Ability to create and disseminate written correspondence.
• Strong computer skills expected

Nice To Haves

• Prior reception experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-line phone system helpful.
• knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as other software programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members and guests.
• Greets and directs all visitors.
• Answers all incoming calls; directs to the appropriate departments when necessary.
• Coordinates and logs dining and event reservations.
• Maintain copy machine and postage meter.
• Orders office supplies.
• Assists management and department heads with clerical tasks.
• Prepares and coordinates mailings as directed.
• Trains new staff members.
• Keeps the front desk area clean and tidy.
• Other duties as needed.
