About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or a related hospitality role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices
• Ability to train team members and support implementation of new processes or systems
• Solid organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising stewarding staff, including dishwashers and cleaners
• Support daily operations to ensure dishwashing, sanitation, and food preparation areas meet all health and safety standards
• Help implement and maintain standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chinaware, glassware, and kitchen equipment; assist with ordering and requisitions
• Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, properly maintained, and stored correctly
• Enforce compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
• Partner with chefs and management to ensure seamless kitchen operations and equipment availability
• Support banquet and special event setup and breakdown as needed
• Step in to lead shifts and operations in the absence of the Executive Steward
• Perform other duties as assigned
