About The Position

A long-established dental office is looking for an entry-level dental office receptionist to join their team. No experience is necessary, but strong communication skills and a love for people are essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus. The role involves greeting patients, confirming appointments, filing charts, and verifying dental insurance. Previous experience in the hospitality industry (hotels or restaurants) is beneficial. The ideal candidate should be healthy, punctual, personable, reliable, and enjoy working with diverse individuals. A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills are highly valued.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill
  • A good memory to manage multiple orders at the same time and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent patrons
  • Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently and kindly
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds at a time
  • Must be a good communicator and love people
  • Must be healthy, punctual, personable, reliable and enjoy people
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills.

  • The best candidates have been in the Hospitality industry in hotels or restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patients for the next day
  • Learn to confirm dental insurance
  • Greet patients as they enter the office
  • Clean and stock - Determine that all workstations are stocked with products needed.
  • Clean and sanitize all work areas and customer-seating areas.
