About The Position
Enderby Gas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide high-quality customer service and help ensure customers have a positive experience at the store. The representative serves as the face of the store and handles sales, delivery orders, payments, and customer assistance. The role also involves learning about gas log and space heater parts and repairs, observing cylinder filling and recertification, directing traffic at the bottle station, and potentially assisting with cylinder handling and tank overhauls.
Responsibilities
- Use the point-of-sale system to enter sales and collect payments.
- Look up customers on the computer and enter delivery orders and payments.
- Learn about parts and burner repairs for gas logs and space heaters.
- Observe cylinder filling and recertification and direct traffic at the bottle station.
- May load and unload cylinders for customers.
- Learn to overhaul tanks, forklift cylinders, and regular cylinders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
