About The Position
Woodside Bible Church is seeking a dependable and servant-hearted Custodian to join our Warren Campus team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for worship services, ministry activities, and special events. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and enjoys supporting ministry through facility care and hospitality.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a member of Woodside Bible Church.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated alignment with the mission, values, and beliefs of Woodside Bible Church.
Nice To Haves
- Prior custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain campus facilities, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, empty trash, and replenish supplies.
- Set up and reset rooms for ministry events and activities.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate inventory needs.
- Identify facility maintenance needs and coordinate with campus leadership.
- Help ensure the church remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and guests.
