About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering individualized treatment in modern settings across every level of care. The Custodian maintains the cleanliness and smooth functioning of the property and facility, completes routine custodial tasks and maintenance checklists, and provides operational support as needed. The role reports completed activities and escalates concerns to the Executive Director.

Requirements

• No formal education is required.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of the property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and removing garbage.
• Provide operational support as required by the Executive Director.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure facility cleanliness and upkeep.
• Report completed activities and escalate concerns to the Executive Director.
