About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in design standards management.
• Strong understanding of architectural, design, and project management principles.
• Experience implementing change management methodologies.
• Technical aptitude and experience with internal or off-the-shelf content management systems, such as intranet sites, SharePoint, or knowledge bases.
• Experience with Revit or other BIM software.
• Proficiency in iWork and other core communication tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong planning, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Critical and creative thinking about process and operational improvement.
• Proactive, responsive, and upbeat approach, with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Global Workplace Design Standards content, including guidelines for space, signage, acoustics, lighting, and furniture; performance and prescriptive specifications; space typologies; product documentation; and related materials.
• Ensure standards content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with Apple’s brand, values, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to review and validate proposed changes.
• Manage version control of standards documents, ensuring current versions are available and outdated versions are archived for reference.
• Document, maintain, and improve processes for developing, approving, implementing, and maintaining the Global Workplace Design Standards.
• Manage change processes for standards updates and ensure stakeholders are informed and trained.
• Deliver content through tools serving as the central Standards repository and resolve technical issues as needed.
• Maintain and improve feedback systems and training programs that help users use the Standards effectively.
• Serve as the point of contact for questions and feedback about the Standards.
• Track, analyze, and report data, and develop key metrics on Standards implementation and usage.
