About The Position

As our HVAC Warranty Technician - Quality Control Specialist, you take on a dynamic role where every day brings new challenges. You serve as the final checkpoint on new construction installations, diligently inspecting, testing, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure they meet our high standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications. By identifying and correcting installation deficiencies, you play a crucial role in delivering homes with customer-ready systems. Your strong diagnostic skills and commitment to excellence in workmanship enable you to collaborate seamlessly with installers, supervisors, and builders, contributing to a streamlined operation that prioritizes quality and customer satisfaction. Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning of Columbus has been proudly serving our customers in the Columbus, OH area for decades. We provide HVAC maintenance as well as new heating and cooling units. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority, and we are experts in our industry!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (experience may be substituted)
  • HVAC installation experience, with residential HVAC experience being preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and airflow principles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills (tablets, laptops, documentation systems)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel between job sites, work overtime, and the occasional weekend
  • Ability to work at heights, on a ladder, wear PPE, and lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC trade school certification (experience may be substituted)
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
  • EPA Certification (can be obtained during employment)
  • Experience with system start-up, commissioning, or quality control processes
