About The Position

Builders FirstSource is hiring an Interior Door Assembler for its Eastern, ID Millwork operation. The role assembles interior doors to specifications and production requirements while meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards. Candidates may be new to the industry; training and opportunities for growth and advancement are available.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; motivated candidates willing to learn and grow may be trained.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grasp, handle, and assemble materials.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, regularly lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, assembly, or woodworking.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble interior doors according to specifications and production requirements.
• Position and secure lumber and truss components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to exact specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met and identify defects.
• Operate equipment used in fastening and assembly processes.
• Work at various production stations as business needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
