About The Position

Builders FirstSource is hiring an Interior Door Assembler at its Caldwell, Idaho Millwork location. The role assembles interior doors while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Candidates may be new to the industry or have manufacturing, construction, or carpentry experience; training and opportunities for growth and advancement are available.

The position is performed in a manufacturing environment and may involve moving machinery and mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions including heat and cold, dust, vibration, and industrial noise. Hearing protection, eye protection, and other required personal protective equipment must be used.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; motivated candidates eager to learn and grow may be trained.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grasp, handle, and assemble materials.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, assembly, or woodworking.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble interior doors according to specifications and production requirements.
• Position and secure lumber and truss components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to exact specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met and identify defects.
• Operate equipment used in fastening and assembly processes.
• Work at various stations throughout the production process as business needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
