About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience within accounting and/or Finance
• Experience with handling complex billing questions on the phone and over email
• Strong attention to detail - Working in multiple systems to accurately bill renewals and update customer information
• Ability to work on a team with shared responsibilities
• Problem solver with the ability to research and ask questions
• Customer Service mentality
• Good verbal and written communicator that enjoys connecting with HCSS customers
• Prior experience demonstrating customer service and teamwork
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize many open inquiries and issues concurrently
• Technical aptitude to learn and use department tools

• Salesforce and NetSuite experience

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external billing inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional customer service
• Investigate and resolve billing issues; update customer subscriptions and assets as needed
• Issue corrected invoices, credit memos, and rebills when necessary
• Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Review and process contract renewal quotes for accuracy; send via DocuSign
• Compare subscriptions across systems to ensure correct billing and renewals
• Follow up with customers on undelivered renewals and update contact info
• Generate invoices for mid-contract changes, add-ons, or non-standard billing cycles
• Create monthly invoices for GPS, SaaS, and Cloud-based product usage
