About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.); 4-6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of Project Management principles and project lifecycles.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage medium to moderately complex projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Proven ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing projects in a technology or banking environment preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate project meetings, drive alignment on decisions, actions, and next steps, and manage stakeholder expectations by escalating issues and changes when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reports to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of medium to moderately complex projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, cost, and changes.
• Apply established project management processes, standards, and tools, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution within defined scope and escalation of higher-risk items.
• Monitor and manage vendor deliverables during project implementations.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and drive accountability for project deliverables and timelines, demonstrating ownership of project outcomes.
• Deliver a consistently exceptional service experience for both team members and customers.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and external partners.
• Demonstrate reliability and accountability in attendance to support operational needs and service expectations.
• Comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all responsibilities.
• Exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
