As a Senior Analyst, People Technology & Analytics – Talent you will play a critical hands-on configuration role in sustaining and enhancing our Workday system, with a primary focus on the Talent, Performance, Succession, and Employee Listening Survey modules. As part of the People, Technology & Analytics team, this role is a valued member of our team supporting our Human Resources department. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Technology & Analytics – Talent, you will leverage your valuable Workday expertise in backend configuration to ensure system integrity, optimal performance, and deliver a positive and streamlined user experience across the enterprise. This role is 4 days a week on site at our Brampton Office located at 1 President's Choice Circle.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive hands-on Workday experience in HR with backend configuration focus in HCM, Talent Management, and Recruiting modules.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, HR, Data Analytics, or Information Systems focus, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven project management skills, including identifying and documenting business requirements while proficiently managing enhancements and implementation requests.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build client trust, influence decisions and develop effective relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High-level of critical thinking, curiosity, and initiative with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Any experience with an enterprise-wide survey tool is an asset.
  • CHRP or related designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday Talent, Performance, Calibration, Succession, and Survey modules, focusing on maximizing functional features and exceeding business and regulatory requirements.
  • Senior Workday analyst responsible for hands-on complex configurations and report creation with cross-functional knowledge of Learning, Recruiting, Paradox and HCM modules is an asset.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify, define, and document data configuration requirements and implement solutions, focusing on enhancing user experience and optimizing productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop strategic solutions to unexpected challenges, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data interpretation and best practices.
  • Employ comprehensive testing strategies with effective test cases and defect resolution process for all configuration changes to ensure a successful deployment.
  • Exercise sound judgment when constructing complex configurations and implementing new Workday functionality within a large cross-functional team
