About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Worcester, Auburn, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Holden, Grafton, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with independent mobile work supported by ongoing training, seasoned mentors, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role averages 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Part-time opportunities are available on flexible schedules of 2–5 days per week. Two-day-per-week positions offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits; compensation details for schedules of three, four, or five days are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Conduct mobile appointments in the listed Massachusetts communities and surrounding areas.
