About The Position

Haywood Road Animal Hospital is a family-owned, full-service small animal hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. The hospital provides care for canine and feline patients and emphasizes quality medicine, collaboration, meaningful client relationships, and a supportive team environment. The Associate Veterinarian will provide compassionate, high-quality medical care, with opportunities to practice preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and other comprehensive small animal medicine. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, dental services, and surgical capabilities. Veterinarians at all experience levels, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply. The hospital is located near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Greenville’s outdoor, dining, and downtown attractions.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
• Passion for high-quality patient care and building lasting relationships with clients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to continued learning.
• Interest in practicing comprehensive small animal medicine.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at any level, including as a recent graduate, is welcomed.
• Interest or experience in preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and other advanced procedures.

Responsibilities
