About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Frederick, Hagerstown, Maryland, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must pass post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
Conduct an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day.
