About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Atlanta, Georgia, including Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible scheduling and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
