About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Clearwater is seeking an Emergency Clinician to join their growing team. This multidisciplinary hospital offers Emergency Medicine alongside Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Diagnostic Imaging, and Avian & Exotics. This provides ER clinicians the opportunity to collaborate closely with a diverse group of specialists and provide comprehensive care for a wide variety of cases. Requirements

• A DVM or equivalent degree with an active Florida veterinary license.
• Experienced in emergency medicine or interested in developing their emergency medicine career.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• A strong communicator who values collaboration with colleagues, clients, and referring veterinarians.
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive hospital culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency and urgent care to dogs and cats.
• Perform comprehensive examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate recommendations with clients.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
• Perform emergency procedures as appropriate to your training and experience.
• Work closely with our veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Collaborate with specialists and other clinicians when patients require advanced or multidisciplinary care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians regarding patient status, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care.
• Participate in a collaborative hospital environment where learning and knowledge-sharing are encouraged.
