Associate Veterinarian - 2027 MADE Program

Bond Vet•New York City, NY

About The Position

Bond Vet is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for its 2027 MADE program: Mentorship, Advancement, Development, and Education. MADE is a structured, supportive six-month program for recent or upcoming veterinary graduates, intended to help them develop into confident, skilled, and compassionate veterinarians. Participants receive a dedicated mentor and support from the organization’s broader veterinary network while developing clinical and communication skills in parallel. The program covers primary and acute care, complex medical workups and long-term follow-up, foundational dentistry, spay/neuter surgery, RECOVER CPR certification, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). Monthly case rounds and knowledge assessments reinforce learning. Training also focuses on explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and estimates clearly and compassionately, navigating difficult conversations, and communicating effectively with the care team. Successful participants are expected to confidently manage a full primary and acute care caseload, independently perform routine spay/neuter and Stage 1–2 dental procedures, communicate recommendations clearly to clients, and build strong relationships with their mentor, practice team, and wider DVM network. Compensation is $125,000 to $135,000, depending on geographic region.
