About The Position
Ready to start a new career? Become a Certified Traffic Control Flagger TODAY! This is a very physically demanding job, and a physical fitness test will be given to qualified applicants to move on to the next phase of the interviewing process. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
Requirements
- MUTCD certification a PLUS, but WE WILL certify you.
- Traffic Control Supervisor on your certification is a PLUS.
- Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Set up a safe work zone with all necessary cones, barrels, barricades etc.
- Use stop and slow paddles to control the flow of traffic.
- Utilize two-way radio to effectively communicate with team-mates.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and elements for a long period of time.
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, run and walk as required.
- Physically fit pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may and capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to work well on a team and follow supervisor instruction.
- Good time management skills, attention to detail and surroundings.
- Availability to work on various nights and weekends, if required.
- Ability to take and pass required construction safety & training classes.
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug test.
