About The Position

Legacy Utility Group is seeking committed and reliable personnel for Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) operations, including flaggers and technicians. The role supports safe and efficient roadway operations in a challenging outdoor environment, with safety as the highest priority. Travel by company vehicle may be required for long-distance projects, up to 50%. The workplace is drug-, smoke-, and alcohol-free, and employment requires drug testing.

Requirements

• Able to lift and move traffic control devices weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to stand and walk outdoors for extended periods in inclement weather.
• Strong communication skills and visual and auditory situational awareness.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Willing to travel by company vehicle up to 50% for long-distance projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct and release traffic using hand signals and STOP/SLOW paddles.
• Use radios to maintain contact with other flaggers and manage alternating one-lane traffic.
• Identify potential job-site hazards, including distracted drivers and site hazards.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with colleagues, clients, and motorists.
• Place and remove cones, signs, and other site materials at the start and end of each shift.
