About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic-control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched from home directly to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team, assisting Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining safe work zones. The position contributes to public safety and infrastructure development and may offer opportunities to advance into leadership and other roles.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
Availability Monday through Friday, as early as 6 a.m. through late afternoon.
Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.
Use approved two-way radios.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic-control work zones.
Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
Use appropriate equipment and communication to guide traffic safely through work zones.
