About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and developing enterprise software applications.
• 7+ years of people leadership experience managing software development teams and engineering leaders.
• Proven experience leading large-scale .NET development organizations.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.
• Experience managing multiple projects and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience with C#, Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET technologies, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Windows Services, object-oriented programming, SQL Server and relational databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and LINQ.
• Strong experience with MVC and MVVM architectural patterns.
• Strong experience with software testing, debugging, quality assurance methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple software engineering teams through Software Engineering Managers and technical leaders.
• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and software delivery processes.
• Drive execution across concurrent projects while balancing quality, scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Guide the design and development of enterprise software solutions built on the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
• Provide technical oversight for software architecture, application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and solution strategies.
• Ensure software solutions integrate with customer systems and third-party applications.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain engineering talent.
• Support career development and succession planning for engineering managers and developers.
• Promote technical excellence, learning, and professional growth.
• Oversee SDLC activities, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Drive adherence to coding standards, documentation requirements, quality processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor project performance and resource allocation across multiple programs and teams.
