About The Position

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead multiple software development teams building enterprise-class solutions for material handling and automation systems. The role provides strategic leadership through Software Engineering Managers and technical leaders, with a focus on scalable .NET applications that integrate with warehouse execution systems, robotics, AS/RS solutions, sortation systems, customer systems, and third-party platforms. The Senior Manager guides software architecture and delivery, establishes engineering practices and processes, and oversees project execution across multiple concurrent programs while balancing quality, scope, schedule, and budget. The role also partners with engineering and business stakeholders on technical roadmaps and solution strategies, develops engineering talent, and oversees software lifecycle activities from design and development through testing, deployment, and support. Travel is expected up to 15%.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of software engineering experience designing and developing enterprise software applications.
7+ years of people leadership experience managing software development teams and engineering leaders.
Proven experience leading large-scale .NET development organizations.
Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.
Experience managing multiple projects and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience with C#, Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET technologies, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Windows Services, object-oriented programming, SQL Server and relational databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and LINQ.
Strong experience with MVC and MVVM architectural patterns.
Strong experience with software testing, debugging, quality assurance methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
