About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience.
• A guard card or license.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and store activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate with site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
