About The Position
Freedom Home Care is seeking an organized, motivated, and compassionate Scheduler to join our growing administrative team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive dependable care by coordinating caregiver schedules, filling open shifts, and providing exceptional support to both clients and staff.
Requirements
- Previous scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or administrative experience Required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, smart phones, and learning scheduling software.
- Familiar with using the Microsoft platform and its apps, such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Home Care experience preferred.
- Previous Caregiver experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate caregiver schedules and daily staffing.
- Fill open shifts and respond to caregiver call-offs.
- Communicate professionally with clients and caregivers.
- Verify completed visits and documentation.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in AxisCare.
- Work closely with nurses, HR, and management to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with staffing for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergencies when needed.
- One Weekend per month on-call for scheduling.
