About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro telemetry, with specific experience in caring for patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), transient ischemic attacks (TIA), subdural hematomas, and seizure disorders. Experience in surgical oncology and vascular surgery is also preferred, particularly in post-operative recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in acute care settings
- RN License in Illinois
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- EPIC charting experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in surgical oncology
- Experience in vascular surgery, particularly in post-operative recovery
Responsibilities
- Performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as per established protocols
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Educating patients and families on health management and care plans
