About The Position
We're looking for a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in San Diego and Riverside. In this role, you ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, guiding a talented team to achieve and exceed sales targets. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our sales initiatives align with overall business goals. Requirements
- 5+ years experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution; preferably in the pipe, valve and fitting industry.
- 3 years of outside sales experience.
- 3 years of Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for assigned branches.
- Establish goals and objectives for the sales team, monitor sales expenses, and ensure adherence to approved sales techniques and tools.
- Actively participate in the sales process by engaging with key accounts.
- Conduct individual or joint sales calls to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Follow up on project bids to secure orders and address any issues related to products and services.
- Assist in the budgeting process by preparing preliminary financial data.
- Review monthly financial reports, analyze them for opportunities to enhance profitability and reduce costs, and implement plans to improve the region's financial performance.
- Share financial insights with the sales team to ensure alignment.
