About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or a current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of practice in lieu of a degree.
• Three years of clinical experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Knowledge of complex hospital and healthcare systems, processes, and quality/performance improvement.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to act as an effective change agent.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of the Internet, evidence-based medicine, good clinical inquiry, and investigational aptitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong public speaking skills and demonstrated ability to present to coworkers, including physicians, clinicians, administration, and support staff.
• Self-directed, able to work independently with minimal oversight, and able to travel throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement projects in collaboration with organizational leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Model and teach quality improvement principles throughout the organization.
• Develop work plans or project plans for quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate with leadership, coworkers, and medical staff to develop, implement, monitor, and champion processes related to quality issues.
