About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Plumber to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems within industrial and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing plants, processing facilities, warehouses, healthcare, educational, or large-scale commercial environments and be committed to safety, quality, and productivity. The Industrial Plumber must be capable of reading blueprints, interpreting specifications, working independently or with a crew, and ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Ohio Journeyman Plumber License
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience in industrial, commercial, or construction settings.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work from heights, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Install industrial plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, compressed air, natural gas, process piping, and specialty piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipe using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Install fixtures, valves, pumps, backflow preventers, water heaters, boilers, and related equipment.
  • Perform underground rough-ins, above-ground piping, equipment connections, and final trim-out work.
  • Assist with layout and coordination of plumbing systems according to blueprints and jobsite conditions.
  • Work with materials such as PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, and PEX.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, pressure issues, faulty fixtures, and piping failures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Replace worn or defective components with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Troubleshoot pumps, valves, drains, water systems, and process piping systems.
  • Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Use PPE and safe work practices at all times.
  • Ensure installations meet Kentucky plumbing code requirements and local regulations.
