About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospital, clinical, ER, or urgent care environment
• Experience with patient intake coordination and registration
• Strong EMR/EHR experience (Epic experience highly preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Room (ER) registration experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Experience with insurance verification and patient access functions
• Active Directory and access management knowledge

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews to collect and verify demographic, insurance, and registration information
• Accurately enter patient data into the hospital information system and EMR
• Coordinate patient intake and registration processes in a busy Emergency Department
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and clinical staff
• Assist with access management and patient account maintenance
• Ensure compliance with hospital registration procedures and privacy guidelines
