Your Next Big Career Move: Assistant Parts Manager located in Pewaukee, WI. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm The Opportunity (Job Purpose): Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Assistant Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by leading our local team. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to work effectively with peers to implement business process changes.
  • Proficient skills with employee development and supervision skills, and inventory management.
  • Experienced with basic software programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Two years of work experience in a heavy-duty truck parts department preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and keep customers informed on the status of special order, back-order parts.
  • Receive, locate, bill, and fulfill orders and handle customer returns.
  • Answer questions, provide price quotes, inform of companion part requirements and specials in-person and over the phone.
  • Create sales opportunities in the parts department.
  • Oversee parts warranty procedures.
  • Assist with reviewing part costs and controlling retail pricing of parts with guidance from the SBU.
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve target turns while minimizing stockouts and lost sales.
  • Work with Parts Manager and Human Resources to assist in the selection, hiring, training, and development of employees.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
  • Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business
