About The Position
Leidos is seeking a Senior Operations Intelligence Analyst to support a customer facility at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. This role is designated as a Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) and provides full‑spectrum operational intelligence analysis, targeting support, sensitive mission planning, and development of intelligence portions of operational Concepts of Operations (CONOPs). Candidates must bring deep experience in multi‑discipline intelligence, including HUMINT targeting, social network analysis, and the use of advanced analytic tools and databases. This position operates within a high‑tempo, operations‑integrated environment and requires the ability to produce high‑quality finished intelligence with limited oversight.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum 10 years of analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, including 5 years at the operational level.
- Strong background in Social Network Analysis, GEOINT, Geo‑Political Analysis, HUMINT, and SIGINT analysis.
- Acute understanding of Special Operations gained through military training or operational experience.
- Must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance; applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Demonstrated ability to produce polished written intelligence products and deliver briefings with minimal oversight.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with current analytic tools, databases, and intelligence/operational systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working directly with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or SOF‑supporting intelligence elements.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in high‑tempo, ambiguous environments with limited direction.
- Experience producing senior‑level intelligence briefings and operational targeting products.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with requirement originators across Services, Components, DoD organizations, and national‑level intelligence agencies to target networks, identify key individuals, and assess vulnerabilities for exploitation.
- Work directly with Special Operations enterprise partners to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse, and interpret reporting from multiple sources, with emphasis on HUMINT.
- Support the creation and refinement of intelligence portions of operational Concepts of Operations.
- Provide expert‑level support to mission planning efforts requiring advanced targeting and intelligence integration.
- Produce high‑quality written intelligence assessments, briefings, and operational products with minimal oversight.
- Operate as part of a highly skilled team executing time‑sensitive, mission‑critical tasks.
- Interpret general guidance from program leadership and independently adjust to evolving operational requirements.
