About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and is based in East Los Angeles, California. The role reports to the CMO.
Requirements
- Active California NP License
- Active DEA License
- Professional Liability Insurance
- English/Spanish bilingual
- Valid California Driver License and reliable transportation
- Background check required
- Maintain automobile insurance
- Provide documentation of TB, MMR, TDAP, Influenza, and COVID vaccinations
Responsibilities
- Perform medical histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Perform or assist with laboratory and screening procedures.
- Recognize situations requiring physician intervention.
- Counsel patients on physical and mental health matters.
- Facilitate referrals and order routine diagnostic tests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
