Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Clarion area
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a permanent, part-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings in the Clarion area. The role focuses on providing medication-assisted treatment and other evidence-based care to support patients in recovery. The Nurse Practitioner prescribes medications and treatments based on patient assessments, completes medical documentation according to Crossroads standards, collaborates with clinic staff to provide holistic care, and refers patients to other medical providers and community services as appropriate. The role also performs injections. Applicants should include their availability in their application.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
- Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with ability to schedule medications in Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
