About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a permanent part-time Nurse Practitioner for the Northside area. Crossroads provides outpatient, office-based treatment for opioid use disorder, including evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and manage patients in outpatient clinics, prescribe appropriate medications and treatments, complete medical documentation, and collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care. The role includes performing injections. Applicants should include their availability with their application.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
• Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
• DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with ability to schedule medications in Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
• Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments.
• Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
• Perform injections.
