About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a permanent, part-time Nurse Practitioner in the Franklin area. The role provides outpatient, office-based care for patients with opioid use disorder, using evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to support recovery. The Nurse Practitioner evaluates and manages patients, prescribes medications and treatments based on assessments, completes medical documentation, and collaborates with clinic staff to provide holistic care and connect patients with other medical providers and community services. The position includes performing injections. Applicants should include their availability with their application.
Requirements
- Be a Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted license and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
- Have a primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- Hold a DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with the ability to schedule medications in Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments.
- Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
