Part-time Nurse Practitioner- Franklin area
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a permanent part-time Nurse Practitioner for its Franklin-area outpatient clinics. Since 2005, Crossroads has provided evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for people with opioid use disorder and works to improve access to treatment in communities across the U.S. The role involves evaluating and managing patients with opioid use disorder, prescribing appropriate medications and treatments, completing medical documentation, and coordinating holistic care with clinic staff, medical providers, and community services. The Nurse Practitioner will also perform injections. Applicants are asked to include their availability with their application.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
- Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with ability to schedule medications in Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments.
- Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
