Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Ford City Area
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a permanent part-time Nurse Practitioner in the Ford City area to provide outpatient, office-based care for patients with opioid use disorder. The role supports Crossroads’ mission to provide accessible, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment and help patients build better lives in recovery. The Nurse Practitioner evaluates and manages patients, prescribes appropriate medications and treatments, documents care, collaborates with clinic staff on holistic care and referrals, and performs injections. Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and be authorized to practice in the state of practice.
- Have a primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- Hold a DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with the ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments.
- Complete medical documentation in accordance with Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
