About The Position
CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or experienced Physician Assistants to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. Opportunities are available in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities. CHE is a clinician-led organization serving more than 100,000 patients across more than 800 facilities in 11+ states. This W2-employed position may be full-time or part-time. Clinicians choose their weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. The role offers predictable caseloads and flexible scheduling, along with a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric/Mental Health.
- ANCC PMHNP certification for New Hampshire.
- Experience in psychotropic medication management.
- Active DEA registration in New Hampshire.
Nice To Haves
- Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered.
- Experienced Physician Assistants are also considered.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Collaborate with an integrated care team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, and nursing staff.
- Distinguish and diagnose psychological versus physiological disorders.
- Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
