About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Drivers license and auto liability insurance, required.
• Arkansas boilers license required within 6 months OR license in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC-R or Fire Suppression Systems, required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in 3 of the following areas; Industrial electrical systems up to 480 volts-3 phase; Air conditioning and refrigeration; HVAC operations; HVAC-R; Generator operation and maintenance; Medical gas system; Pneumatic tube systems; Fire Suppression Systems; General maintenance/mechanical and general institutional environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete assigned maintenance work orders in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, plant equipment, HVAC-R, plumbing, and other hospital inventory
• Maintain the building automation system including management of HVAC and electrical systems
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, adhesives, and solvents in an appropriate manner
• Maintain documentation of completed requests, system failures, and escalate to leadership as needed
• Perform routine checks and ensures updates to software equipment
• Develop and provide reports to leadership regarding life safety, quality, and maintenance performance optimization strategies
• Interpret plans and blueprints
• Ensure work performed in a safe and competent manner
