About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for its Tavares Rehab location. The nurse provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Care and procedures must be appropriate to the patient’s age and population. The role also includes other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report data.
- Carry out orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures in a manner appropriate to patients’ age and population and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
