About The Position

Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide resident-centered nursing care in a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility. Nurses help residents receive exceptional care and support during overnight hours by monitoring health, responding to care needs, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety, comfort, and well-being. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a culture focused on dignity, respect, and individualized care.

Requirements

• Current Nebraska RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care according to physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents and communicate changes in condition to appropriate team members.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures accurately and safely.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Provide guidance and support to CNAs and medication aides as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and medical needs.
• Promote resident safety and compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
