About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. The role involves working night shifts and supporting residents’ well-being through medication administration, monitoring, daily living assistance, accurate documentation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and education and emotional support for patients and their families. The assignment lasts 13 weeks. The permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV Certification required.
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report significant changes to the medical team.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
