About The Position
Pueblo Village is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of our affordable housing community. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys coaching teams, maintaining compliance, driving occupancy, and providing exceptional service to residents. Leadership isn't about sitting behind a desk—it's about building strong teams, creating thriving communities, and leading by example.
Requirements
- Previous Community Manager or Property Manager experience required
- Affordable Housing experience (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other affordable housing programs) strongly preferred
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and property operations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all daily operations of the community
- Leading, developing, and supporting onsite team members
- Ensuring compliance with affordable housing programs and company policies
- Managing budgets, financial performance, rent collections, and reporting
- Monitoring occupancy, leasing, and resident retention
- Coordinating maintenance operations to ensure the community is safe and well maintained
- Building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership partners
- Preparing for agency inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance
