About The Position

Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse license (or current MT licensure eligibility)
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by the schedule
• Comfort with floating to other departments and functioning in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and clinical interventions
• Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as orders dictate; monitor patient responses and document outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient flow and care plans
• Provide safe, timely care during emergencies and high-acuity events; respond to rapid changes in patient condition
• Float to Medical-Surgical units or other departments as needed to support department staffing and patient needs
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate changes to the care team
